I was with a guy that did this. It is an actual sleep disorder that is caused by not entering the REM stage of sleep. It is combination of sleepwalking and "wet" dreams. This guy would initiate sex by fondling, but be asleep the whole time. He would even be abnormally agressive by biting. He would wake up in the morning and have no memory of what happened.
